Is shahar ke shor me kise meri aawaz sunai degi
Mai chahe chillata rahu meri kantak na dikhayi degi
Yu to meri har khwahish puri hoti hai
Par muskurau to wo bhi adhuri hi rahti hai
Chahat hai meri fir se usi duniya me jane ki
Koi sulah kara do is akelepan se
Badi talab lagi hai use gale lagane  ki

Ladna chahta hu par jeet kar kya paunga
Bahut sari shikayate hai meri
Par meri shikayato ki bhi izzat hai
Har kisi se thodi na kar paunga
Hasrat hai is hakikat se bahut door jane
Koi sulah kara do zindgi ki in uljhano se
Badi talab lagi hai aaj muskurane ki

Saal gujre, din beete par wo pal kabhi na aaya
Ekant bhi kabhi shant na ho paaya
Beetega ye daur bhi wo waqt bhi badlega
Jitna ye andhera kala hai usse safed ujala hoga
Tamanna hai us ujale ki or jane ki
Koi sulah kara do in andhero  se
Badi talab lagi hai diye jalane ki

                                             

Translation -

Who'll listen to my voice in this city of noise
Even if i keep screaming, my torment won't be seen
Although all my dreams and desires are done
Still something is left in my life as undone
Desire is to go back into that world
Want to reconcile these loneliness
my heart wants to embrace it atleast once

I want to fight but what's there in those victories
when my soul is burdened with agonies
But it has its own self esteem
So whom to share this agony
desire is to go too far from this reality
Someone restore my life with symphony
Today i want to smile with harmony

Years, months, days passed away
But never came back that moment
Even the solitude was never so silent
This era will pass by and the time will also change
No matter how dark the darkness is
the attire won't be strange
Desire is to walk towards that brightness
If someone can pacify me from this darkness
Someone fulfil my extreme longing to light that lamp of happiness
